Please note: due to sickness this event has been postponed and instead of 9 November will now take place on 16 November.
For hundreds of years, cities, towns and families have been using animal imagery in heraldic coats of arms. Taking inspiration from our ‘Derby Days at Wembley’ exhibition, you will learn about what animals and objects in heraldry represent, while creating your own symbol of you, your family or what Derby means to you.
Free drop-in activity suitable for families – all children should be supervised.
This event is part of the University of Derby's 2024 Festival Hub programme.
