Join Ruth Torr, School Lead for Learning and Teaching, for a two-hour movement workshop where you will explore playfulness and how personal choice, and creativity can transform activities.

Dress comfortably as you will create movements based on a landmark moment in your life and share your creations with others. The movement session will be followed by a discussion about integrating personal choice, creativity, and playfulness into education, and a presentation on the role of play in learning, featuring insights from relevant theorists.

Open to all, especially those interested in movement, creativity, and playful learning. Perfect for educators, students, and anyone curious about integrating playfulness into their daily lives. Limited to 20 participants. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is part of a series of activities for Being Human Festival 2024, led by University for the Creative Arts.
