- UNBOWED: An exhibition of powerful self-portraiture by Ukrainian women refugees working at Creative Response.
- HOMESICK: An exhibition of new work by Elizabeth Ransom, UCA PhD candidate, exploring stories of homesickness from women and non-binary immigrants.
- PUTTING OURSELVES IN THE PICTURE: An exhibition of work by 21 refugee and migrant women and non-binary people, created during a year-long mentorship project with Fast Forward, Autograph, Work Show Grow, National Galleries of Scotland, and Impressions Gallery.
- FLOATING TOGETHER: A collaborative artwork using the cyanotype method, created by artist Maria Kapajeva with people who fled their countries due to the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The exhibitions are part of an inspiring project led by Professor Anna Fox, alongside Maria Kapajeva, Corinne Whitehouse, Camille Serisier, Professor Jean Wainwright, Elizabeth Ransom, Dr. Loucia Manopoulou, and Dr. Harry Whalley.
This event is part of a series of activities for Being Human Festival 2024, led by University for the Creative Arts.
