Experience a unique soundscape of the North York Moors by award-winning ecological sound artist, composer, bassist, and music technician David de la Haye. The family-friendly geodesic dome instillation is situated in MIMA, and will be open to the public from 12 - 16 November.

The soundscape is inspired by the iconic radar domes of RAF Fylingdales, which dominated the landscape of the North York Moors. The geodesic domes were a space age design innovation by the architect Buckminster Fuller. They surrounded the radar dishes at RAF Fylingdales, which tracked satellites in Earth orbit and watched for signs of nuclear attack.

Please check MIMA's opening times before your visit.

This event is part of Teesside University's 2024 festival Hub programme.
