How do trees connect us with places? Algerian poet Samira Negrouche will present a creative writing workshop by video, featuring the olive trees in her village. Supported by creative writing activities in Welsh and English, Year 8 and 9 students from local schools will be invited to write poems in French, Welsh and English that respond to trees in their area. The resulting poems will be displayed at the Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre for the Tree Sense exhibition in March 2023.
