Join film-makers and researchers, Kayla Parker and Stuart Moore, to see how they made their new 360 film about the marine environment of the River Plym estuary, using kayaks to capture ‘all round’ views of this historic tidal waterway. Then it’s your turn to get out on the water and try your hand at kayaking in a 2-hour introductory session with experienced instructors from the Mount Batten Centre. They’ll ensure your safety and help you make the most of this unique experience. Equipment will be provided, alongside basic training to get you started.

But that's not all! Creativity flows when we connect with nature. After kayaking, the group will get together back indoors so you can express your artistic side and capture the essence of the kayaking experience through short poems and pictures, which will be projected at a free screening in the 360 Dome in the Market Hall, Devonport, on Sunday 12 November. No previous experience necessary!
