This event explores landmarks in paintings, poetry and screen media.
Visitors will explore a ‘Landmarks’ exhibition of paintings by Alexander Moffat and Ruth Nicol with poems by Alan Riach in The ARC, followed by a discussion between the three artists.
In the second half of the event, the discussion introduces two film-makers, Kenneth Munro, also a sculptor, and John Archer, owner of Hopscotch Films, and considers how such landmarks are used in screen media, with onscreen examples illustrated and discussed.
