Come along to weave more LGBTQ+ stories into the fabric of the University of Glasgow and the local community. Led by the LGBTQ+ Collections Group, join this hands-on workshop which seeks to collect tales of struggles, breakthroughs and successes in the context of LGBTQ+ life at the university and in the city, through the medium of textile samples with personal meaning. Participants are warmly invited to contribute a piece of fabric of their own as a starting point for conversation, or just come along for the blether.
No sewing or storytelling skills are required. Refreshments provided.
