Join in 'The Memory Box' for a series of at-home postal packs that will help you build your own time capsule!

It feels like we're living through quite a historic moment doesn't it? But history doesn't have to always end up being news about international pandemics or government elections. We all have our own histories to tell, to explore and to discover. This is your chance to collect together gems from your past, mementoes from your present and your hopes for the future, in a celebration of the important stories each and every one of us has to share.

'The Memory Box' will consist of a series of postal packs that will be sent to you around the Being Human festival for you to enjoy at a time that best suits you. The packages will have everything you need to participate (including the memory box itself!) and you only need to add your own personal objects if desired. There will be creative activities, prompts on how to conceptualise your collection and helpful insights from Senate House Library, which hosts a unique array of collections from famous literary figures.

Unfortunately this project is only open to those who live in the UK due to postal logistics.

Please note this event is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email beinghuman@sas.ac.uk and you will be contacted if a space becomes available.
