Come along to this creative writing workshop with researchers from Leeds Trinity University. Alongside the five-day photography display "Being in Time" on display at the venue, workshop attendees will be invited to explore new ideas about the place of photography and time, and about modernist "ekphrastic" writing (meaning "description in Greek", an ekphrastic poem is a vivid description of a scene or, more commonly, a work of art).
This event is open to all and will appeal to anyone with an interest in writing for wellbeing, photography, ekphrasis or philosophies of the mind. Suitable for ages 18 and over.
Leeds Trinity University PhD researcher Lucy Wright, Dr Amina Alyal (English & Creative Writing) and Dr Katrin Joost (Photography) will be on hand to guide the discussion.
