Everyday we walk through the outdoors, in parks, gardens and streets. What do these places mean to us and how can we write about them? How do they link to our own lives, landmarks, cultures and unique view of the world? In this workshop, poet, rapper and former UK battle rap champion, Danny Carlo Pandolfi, will help you to find the words to write about your favourite spaces. This workshop is suitable for 15-18 year olds.

After the workshop, you are invited to join Nicola Davies for a talk exploring 'Writing About Nature for Young Readers' from 18:00-19:30. As part of this event you will have the chance to read your work (from the workshop) to a live audience, but this is optional.

This event is part of Bath Spa University's 2024 Festival Hub programme.
