Join Trawsnewid, Amgueddfa Cymru’s LGBTQ+ youth group, in exploring some of Wales’ LGBTQ+ history through objects in Amgueddfa Cymru’s collection. What do these objects represent? What do they mean today? How can they be used to connect queer people to each other and their localities?
A day of creative workshops, activities and a panel discussion exploring research and responses to queer connections to history, heritage and the importance of representation and belonging in Wales today. There will be workshops aimed at families and young people throughout the day followed by a panel discussion open to all.
