Come along to the Brownlee Arms pub in Horsforth to tell your stories about those you know and love who are often forgotten or unseen. You might have discovered an ancestor whose story you want to tell or you might want to say something about your ethnicity – but we can’t tell you what your stories will be!
- Discussion and workshop, 17:30–19:30 — Researchers Suzanne Owen and Amina Alyal from the Leeds Centre for Victorian Studies (Leeds Trinity University) will be on hand to guide a discussion and writing workshop on how we can write poems or stories about dead or forgotten people we are connected to.
- Break and refreshments, 19:30–20:30 — A free buffet will be provided at the venue.
- 'Wordspace' Open Mic night, 20:30–22:00 — If you want to, you can share your work at a special edition of the 'Wordspace' Open Mic night.
Come to either event or both. Please book via the contact email to save your place.
