Tales of the City

This free walking tour will unveil the history and stories of the city's streets, looking at their past, present and future.

From coffee houses to circus processions, travel and temperance to Buddhist and religious observances, how have people used these streets and how could they in the future? From Church Gate, Gallowtree Gate and Granby Street, the tour takes you across the city centre, revealing murder, magic and mischief.

The walk will start at Beta X on Church Gate, and end at the railway station.
