'Weathering Waterways' is a climate-themed guided walk along the hidden River Fleet in London.
Participants will walk physically along the route of the River Fleet, and at the same time virtually along Dumeresq Creek in Anaiwan Country in Australia, a region now known as ‘New England’. Through this the event will explore climate change and resource exploitation through interlinking histories of colonial trade, indigenous subjugation, and indigenous ideas of kinship for people, place and flora and fauna. The group will meet outside of the Australian High Commission on the Strand and finish by the The Coach pub in Clerkenwell.
