This story-sharing workshop gives you an opportunity to creatively explore your lived experience of menopause and midlife through expressive writing, journaling and story sharing. It is aimed at women who have lived or are living through menopause or who are just curious about what menopause means for them. This event will provide a safe and confidential space to consider this often taboo subject. Share conversations and creative writing over coffee with like-minded people. No writing experience is necessary and you only need share your writing if you want to.

This workshop is inspired by Women’s Things, an anthology of poetry and prose that came out of the East Midlands Oral History Archive’s Silent Archive. The anthology is a collection of spoken testimonies around menopause and midlife.
