Scheduled dates
Join GOBS Collective founder and poet Bridie Squires and University of Nottingham academic and poet Dr Hongwei Bao in a series of creative writing, publishing and performance workshops.
During the first workshop, you will get to explore Nottingham history and culture through the art of poetry. We will come together and write poems about Nottingham’s local history, culture and heritage such as Robin Hood, Nottingham Castle, City of Caves and the Lace Market. No poetry writing experience is required.
The event will take place in Meeting Room 6 & 7 of Nottingham Central Library.
This event is part of the Ode to Notts series led by University of Nottingham, with three workshops and a performance night. We encourage attendees to attend all workshops and take part in the Open Mic night!
